Joao is a trainee Clinical Vascular Scientist. After finishing his degree in Cardiac and Respiratory Physiology in Portugal, Joao has worked for almost 2 years as a CVS in a Portuguese hospital before coming to England to proceed with his studies and become an accredited Vascular Scientist. He has been working for the last 3 years in a number of NHS hospitals around the North West and has recently joined the team at MVC.

Work Interests:

Joao is currently learning how to perform Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound assessments of Endoleaks in EVAR and has a special interest in minimal invasive varicose vein treatment, including RFA/VNUS.
